Service·Several engineers + a lead·Custom pricing

A dedicated Vue team with a lead, for roadmaps one engineer can't carry

Some roadmaps need more than an extra pair of hands. A Dedicated Vue Squad is several senior Vue engineers plus an engineering lead who keeps them on shared architecture and coding standards. The squad plans sprints with you, reports every week and works in your tools, so you add a team without building one from scratch.

When one engineer isn't enough

A roadmap with several fronts

A customer portal, an admin rebuild and a design system, all due the same quarter. One person can only work on one of them at a time.

Five contractors, five styles

Each person you added brought their own patterns. The codebase now has three ways to fetch data and two state libraries.

No frontend lead

Your engineers are capable, but nobody sets standards or makes the hard calls on component structure, state and rendering.

A design system that never ships

Every team builds its own buttons and tables. The shared component library has been on the backlog for a year.

A product with a deadline

You need a web app, an admin and the API work behind them by a fixed date, and hiring a full team in time isn't realistic.

Frontend blocked on integrations

The Vue work waits on API endpoints, auth or third-party integrations that nobody on the team has time to build.

What we work out with you before the squad starts

  1. The workstreams on your roadmap, and which ones run in parallel
  2. The roles you need: Vue, Nuxt, design system, backend support
  3. Who owns product decisions on your side
  4. Your current standards, and the gaps where none exist
  5. Sprint length, planning rhythm and how you want reports
  6. Your tools, environments and release process

From first call to handover

01

Map the roadmap

We go through what you need to ship, by when, and what's already in progress. That decides how many engineers you need and where the lead spends their time.

You get
  • A squad shaped around your roadmap
  • Clear roles and responsibilities
  • A custom monthly price
02

Meet the squad

You meet the lead and the engineers before onboarding and approve them. Nothing starts until you're happy with the people.

You get
  • Introductions to the lead and engineers
  • Your approval before onboarding
  • An agreed start date
03

Set shared standards

The lead agrees architecture and coding standards with your team: folder structure, state, data fetching, components and reviews. They're written down, so new work follows them.

You get
  • Written coding standards
  • Architecture decisions on record
  • One review process for everyone
04

Plan and ship in sprints

The squad plans sprints with you, works in your tracker and ships through your release process. Design system and backend work come in when the roadmap needs them.

You get
  • Structured sprint planning
  • Review-ready pull requests
  • Design system and integration support
05

Report every week

Every week you get a report against the roadmap: what shipped, what moved and what's at risk. Grow or shrink the squad as priorities change.

You get
  • A weekly report
  • Roadmap alignment
  • Room to scale up or down

What you have at the end

A working squad

Several senior Vue engineers and a lead, working as part of your team, in your tools, with hours that overlap yours.

Shared standards

Architecture and coding standards your own developers can keep following after the squad scales down.

Design system support

A shared component library with clear props and slots, so screens look and behave the same across the product.

Backend and integrations

API, auth and third-party integration work when the frontend depends on it, mostly in Node.js and NestJS.

Sprint plans and reports

A written record of what was planned, what shipped and what changed, week by week.

Decision records

Why the big choices were made, so the next engineer on the code doesn't have to guess.

Pick the model that fits the work

Monthly billing at a flat rate. No onboarding fees, no minimum commitment, and you can pause or cancel anytime. Our hours overlap with US and EU time zones.

Part-Time Senior Vue Engineer

$1,499/ month
80 hours per month

Too small for a squad but right for one workstream: a part-time senior engineer on feature support or cleanup.

Full-Time Senior Vue Engineer

$2,499/ month
160 hours per month

If a single workstream is your bottleneck, one full-time senior engineer may be all you need.

When we're not the right call

We'd rather tell you now than sell you the wrong engagement.

  • You need one more pair of hands on a single workstream. Hire one senior engineer instead. It costs less.
  • You want to build your own frontend department for the long term. Hire in-house, and use a squad to carry the roadmap while you recruit.
  • You want a project delivered with nobody on your side involved. A squad works best with a product owner who sets priorities.
  • Your roadmap isn't settled yet. Start smaller until you know what the team should build.

Questions buyers ask us

How is a dedicated team different from hiring one Vue developer?

One engineer adds capacity to your team. A squad adds a team: several engineers, a lead who owns standards, sprint planning and weekly reporting. Pick a squad when several workstreams have to move at once.

How much does a dedicated Vue development team cost?

Squads have custom pricing, based on how many engineers you need and the work ahead. Billing is monthly at a flat rate, with no onboarding fees and no minimum commitment. For comparison, one full-time senior engineer is $2,499 a month.

Is this staff augmentation or outsourcing?

It sits between the two. The squad joins your tools and plans with you, like augmentation. It also brings its own lead and standards, so you don't have to manage each engineer yourself.

Can the squad do backend work too?

Yes, when the frontend needs it: APIs, auth and integrations. Our backend work is mostly Node.js and NestJS.

Can we change the size of the squad?

Yes. Scale up or down as your roadmap changes, or pause or cancel anytime.

Do we meet the engineers before they start?

Yes. You meet and approve the lead and the engineers before onboarding.
