Service·Ongoing maintenance·App rescue
Some Vue apps need steady care: dependency updates, bug fixes and small features, month after month. Others need rescue, because the developer or agency who built them is gone and nobody can ship safely. We do both, in your repository, with releases you can roll back.
When teams call us
Nobody on the team knows how the app fits together. Small changes take days because people are afraid of what they'll break.
A fresh clone fails on npm install, the Node version is years old, or the deploy only works from one person's laptop.
npm audit and your Git host keep flagging packages, and each fix seems to need a bigger upgrade nobody has time for.
The same issues return after releases because there's no clear owner, no review and no checklist for the flows customers use.
Mixins, global event buses and thousand-line components make simple features expensive. The roadmap slips and nobody can say exactly why.
Tickets wait for weeks, invoices still arrive, and you're not sure you have all the code, credentials and access you paid for.
How we work
We get access, clone the repo and make it build and run from scratch. Then we list what's broken, what's risky and what's fine, worst first.
We fix what blocks releases first: a broken build, a failing deploy, an urgent security advisory. Then we make releases repeatable and reversible.
With the app stable, we work through bugs and small features in priority order. Every change goes through a pull request your team can review.
Each month we update dependencies in small batches and plan bigger upgrades before they turn urgent, such as a Vue 2 or Nuxt 3 app that's now past end of life.
Where the code slows every feature, we refactor in small steps next to normal work: mixins to composables, scattered state to Pinia, oversized components split up.
Deliverables
What's broken, what's risky and what can wait, with the order we'll tackle it in.
Repos, hosting, domains and third-party accounts, and who holds each one, so nothing depends on someone who left.
A build that works from a clean clone, and a deploy that doesn't depend on one person's laptop.
Every release tagged with notes, so you can see what shipped and roll back to the last good version.
What we updated each month, which advisories we closed and which upgrades are coming next.

Engagement and price
Monthly billing at a flat rate. No onboarding fees, no minimum commitment, and you can pause or cancel anytime. Our hours overlap with US and EU time zones.
The usual fit for maintenance: steady hours each month for dependency updates, bug fixes and small features.
For a rescue, or an app with a long backlog. One senior engineer triages, stabilises and then owns the work.
For several apps, or a large product where maintenance and new features both need a team.
A one-off frontend architecture review, when you only need to know what state the app is in.

FAQ
Yes, that's what a rescue is. We start by getting access and making the app build and deploy from scratch, then fix what blocks releases. The triage report tells you what state the code is in.
Yes. We keep Vue 2 apps patched and working, and we'll tell you plainly when staying on Vue 2 starts to cost more than moving. Vue 2 reached end of life on December 31, 2023.
Our plans don't include on-call cover. Our engineers work hours that overlap with US and EU time zones. If you need contractual response times, tell us what you need and we'll say honestly whether we can meet it.
The part-time plan is 80 hours a month. How far that goes depends on the state of the app: a stable one needs less, a rescue needs more at the start. You can begin full-time for the rescue and move to part-time once things are stable.
Yes. Every plan is billed monthly with no minimum commitment, and you can pause or cancel anytime.
$1,499 a month for a part-time senior engineer or $2,499 a month full-time, billed monthly at a flat rate. Several apps or a large product can use a dedicated squad at a custom price.
Get started
Tell us what the app does, which Vue or Nuxt version it runs and what's going wrong. A senior engineer will reply with how we'd start.
